Easy About this route
Simple circular BTT route suitable for all types of users that allows you to enjoy the surroundings of Daroca with landscapes as interesting as the San Julián ravine or the Jiloca valley. We start from the area of the Puerta Alta of Daroca and head towards the silo next to the Civil Guard barracks, from where we access the Mina ravine. The first section ascends the ravine and coincides with the GR-90 until reaching the industrial estate. We will leave the estate via a good dirt road heading east, which initially runs parallel to the road until a crossing near the prison. We will cross to the other side of the road through a small tunnel (drainage of the ravine) that will force us to get off the bike and continue out of this by a good firm path until we reach the prison. From there, we quickly reach the San Julián ravine, where a path runs along its dry bed that will take us to the valley of the Jiloca river. There, the path crosses under the N-234 road and continues straight until crossing the river via a bridge that leaves us on the Natural Path (Greenway). We take the Greenway to the right, following a comfortable and pleasant walk among orchards and poplar groves. We access Daroca via a short stretch of road and return to the starting point, crossing the town through the Puerta Baja and Calle Mayor.
