Heritage

In this locality we can find some of the most beautiful heraldic houses in Navarre, in the center of the locality the plaza de los Fueros stands out, and at the top of the village we find the Church of San Andrés. But above all, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre stands out, in Romanesque style, which can be considered one of the most important Romanesque constructions in Navarre, inside the church we find the beautiful carving of the Crucified. It is a Historical Heritage of Navarre and was declared a Historical-Artistic Monument in 1931. It is also worth mentioning the abandoned village of La Monjía, a beautiful Benedictine monastery that belonged to the Monastery of Irantzu and the heraldic shields of its heraldic houses, built in the 17th and 18th centuries.

Celebrations

The patron saint festivities of Torres del Río (Tierra Estella) are held in honor of the Vera Cruz. They traditionally take place during the second weekend of September, and usually officially begin on the previous Thursday with the famous "Day of the Rocket."
