Valbuena de Duero is a municipality located in the province of Valladolid, known for its stunning wine-growing environment and its historical richness. The Monastery of Santa María de Valbuena stands out, a magnificent example of 12th-century Cistercian architecture, situated on the banks of the Duero River and currently the headquarters of Las Edades del Hombre. The municipality also features the Church of San Nicolás de Bari, of Romanesque origin, and several traditional stone buildings that reflect the history of the locality. The vineyard landscapes, characteristic of the Denomination of Origin Ribera del Duero, surround the municipality and form a unique natural attraction.
