castle Edificio Medieval bridge
The Medieval Bridge is one of the historical accesses to Ávila and one of the most characteristic elements of the Adaja River environment. Built of stone and formed by several arches, it used to serve as a mandatory passage for travelers and goods arriving in the city. Its traditional structure, along with the riverside landscape that surrounds it, makes it a prominent heritage point and very representative of the medieval origin of Ávila.

La Serrada is a locality near Ávila, characterized by its rural atmosphere and its countryside environment. The village retains the charm of the small nuclei of the area, with paths that easily connect with the surroundings. Although the route does not enter the urban area, it is very close to the layout.

The Colilla is a small municipality located to the west of Ávila, surrounded by open fields and agricultural roads typical of the Castilian plateau. It is a quiet hub and very close to the city, with good views of the surroundings and accessible via a short detour from the route.
