About this route

Circular route of 17 km through one of the most spectacular landscapes of the Sierra del Segura. From Ayna, the “Switzerland of La Mancha,” the route progressively ascends between limestone walls, traditional orchards, and views of the impressive canyon of the Río Mundo. The route passes by the site of Royo Odrea, continues towards the breathtaking Mirador del Infierno, where a vertical panorama of the valley opens up, and reaches the famous area known as “Benidorm”, a privileged natural balcony over the gorge. The return to Ayna is done via paths and tracks with a moderate elevation change, ideal for enjoying the surroundings without high technical difficulty.
