This linear route runs through one of the most pleasant sections of the old Vasco-Navarro Railway, now converted into a greenway, perfect for enjoying by bicycle in a natural and tranquil environment.
The route connects Murieta with Zúñiga, following a comfortable, practically flat, and very well-conditioned path, ideal for riding without difficulty and maintaining a steady pace. The old railway infrastructure allows for smooth progress, without traffic and surrounded by nature.
Along the way, one crosses through agricultural areas, small forests, and open landscapes, with views of the Sierra de Lokiz, which adds a unique character to the route.
During the route, one can find points of interest such as old railway crossings, rest areas, and sections that reflect the past of the old “trainico.”
