About this route

Simple and accessible mountain bike route for all types of audiences as it runs along comfortable paths with a good surface and without significant slopes. The route starts from Gallocanta from the surroundings of the Interpretation Center along a path that circles the town to the south, until reaching the area of the hermitage of Soledad. There we take a left turn onto a path that borders the shore of the lagoon, leaving behind the Aguanares observatory and ascending to the hermitage of Buen Acuerdo, where we will take a break to enjoy the views of the Laguna de Gallocanta. We will continue moving away from the lagoon until we reach the road next to the intersection and the old gas station. We will continue along the road to Cubel and at 1.5 km, we will turn right onto a path that borders the western limit of the Laguna de la Zaida and leads us to Used. We will return along a rural path that passes by Lagunilla and ends at the road. We take a new path on the other side of the asphalt that crosses the Royo stream and connects with the road from Gallocanta just a few meters from the town.

Types of paths:

If this beautiful enclave is famous for anything, it is for being a true ornithological paradise. Every winter, it is the chosen place for the common crane to take a break during its migratory journeys. A true visual and auditory spectacle that is worth knowing.
