Easy About this route
This final stage of the Teresian Route, spanning about 33 km, connects Mancera de Abajo with Alba de Tormes, the final destination of the path and the resting place of Saint Teresa of Jesus. The route advances through the typical open landscapes of La Moraña and Campo Charro, combining rural tracks, gentle undulations, and agricultural paths surrounded by endless fields.
After leaving Mancera de Abajo behind, the route links small rural nuclei and ancient drover's roads, maintaining a comfortable layout with very moderate elevation gain. As you approach Alba de Tormes, the landscape changes slightly; scattered woodlands appear, and the view opens up towards the Tormes river valley.
The final entry into Alba de Tormes is especially symbolic: the walker arrives at the municipality that guards the Teresian memory, with its basilica, convent, and historical footprints linked to the saint.
It is a quiet, spiritual, and very pleasant stage, ideal for culminating the route with a sense of introspection and connection with the landscape.
