Easy About this route
The Green Way of Ojos Negros is currently the longest in Spain. It has a route of 162 kilometers that goes from Santa Eulalia in Teruel to Algimia de Alfara in Valencia.
To condition the VV, the layout of the mining train of Sierra Menera has been recovered, which transported iron ore from the Ojos Negros mines to the town of Sagunto in the early 20th century.
During the route, we can enjoy beautiful landscapes and travel from the high lands of Teruel to the Mediterranean Sea.
It has a mixed surface (asphalt, gravel, and compacted earth) and a total of 15 tunnels, 13 viaducts, and 3 bridges.
In this entry, you can download the track corresponding to the section that goes from the vicinity of Venta del Aire to Sarrión, which is 21 kilometers long (round trip).
During the section, we will pass through several tunnels, highlighting the one after the viaduct of Albentosa, one of the most spectacular of the entire VV. There are also rest areas equipped with tables and informational panels about the path and the towns that are crossed along the route.
VERY IMPORTANT: Comply with the general rules of use of the Green Way.
Types of path:
- Trail: 19.2 km
- Street: 1.89 km
