Heritage

Utrillas is a locality marked by its mining tradition, visible in elements such as the monument to the Miner and the Theme Park of Mining and Railways. In its urban area, the Baroque church of the Nativity of Our Lady (17th century) stands out.

Its surroundings offer a valuable geological and natural heritage, with nearby spaces such as the Geological Park of Aliaga and the Cultural Park of the Río Martín, where spectacular landscapes and rock art combine. In addition, the area has ideal routes for hiking and cycling, in an environment of great natural wealth.

Celebrations

Utrillas keeps its traditions alive through numerous popular festivals and pilgrimages. The patronal festivals on September 8, the Mozos festival in July, the Southern Neighborhood Festival on May 1, and the celebrations of Las Parras de Martín in August stand out. Of special significance is Saint Barbara, the patron saint of miners, which is celebrated on December 4, reflecting the deep mining identity of the locality.

Gastronomy

The cuisine of Utrillas is linked to Aragonese tradition and its mining past, featuring hearty dishes of humble origin.
