Heritage
Peramola is a municipality located in the valley of Segre, at the foot of the Sierra de Sant Honorat and Aubenç, formed by the nuclei of Peramola, Tragó, Cortiuda, Castell-Llebre, and Nuncarga, in addition to numerous farmhouses and hermitages. Its surroundings combine pre-Pyrenean landscape, unique rock formations, and Romanesque heritage.
The old town of Peramola retains its medieval character, with remnants of walls, stone houses, and a circular urban structure. The Romanesque church of Sant Miquel, the tower of the Moors, and the rock paintings of the Rock of the Moors stand out, one of the oldest testimonies of human presence.
In the territory, the hermitages of Sant Honorat and Sant Salvador del Corb stand out, as well as routes linked to water and springs, which are part of the identity of the village. In Tragó, the traditional layout of the nucleus and its squares reflect the historical life linked to the river Segre and the agricultural landscape.
