The source of the Río Mundo ("Los Chorros"), near Riópar in the Natural Park of the Calares del Mundo and de la Sima, is famous for its spectacular 86-meter waterfall that springs from the Cave of Los Chorros.
This cave is one of the most notable in Spain for caving, with almost 50 km explored. The area also has immense biological value, hosting numerous protected plant species and remnants of an Atlantic forest. After heavy rains, the "Reventón" phenomenon occurs, a spectacular surge of water flow.
The main access to the waterfall is easy and suitable for all visitors, although parking is regulated and paid on high-traffic days.
