The northern edge of the municipality contains the headwaters of the Torrijas River, within the southern foothills of Javalambre. The area is dotted with numerous springs, due to the strong absorption of water in the highlands (such as Sebastiana, Castillejo, Fontanelas, and Pino Springs).
Some are even considered medicinal, like the Fuente de la Salud, reputed to have healing properties for kidney and rheumatic ailments.
In the main square stands the Church of Saints Cosmas and Damian, next to which is the Town Hall, a three-story building with an open arcade supported by two semicircular stone arches.
On the outskirts are the Hermitage of Santa Catalina, with a single nave, semicircular doorway, and adjoining chapel, and the Hermitage of Santa Margarita, also known as Las Navas.
