Data will not be transferred to other third parties except as required by law. <h1>Booking and Service Use Conditions — Turicleta</h1><p><strong>Last updated:</strong> 03/06/2026</p><p>These Conditions govern the booking and use of the bicycle rental service, stations, bike hangars, and other equipment offered through Turicleta. We recommend reading them carefully before completing your booking.</p><hr><h2>1. Acceptance of the conditions</h2><p>By making and confirming a booking with Turicleta, you declare that you have read and accepted these Conditions, which form a binding contract between you (the "User") and Turicleta. <strong>The completion of the booking implies full acceptance of these Conditions.</strong> If you do not agree with them, you must not make the booking.</p><p>These Conditions are accessible to the User at all times during the booking process.</p><hr><h2>2. Definitions</h2><ul><li><p><strong>Turicleta:</strong> the platform and entity that manages bookings, payments, deposits, and the operation of the service, whether as a direct operator of the service or on behalf of associated operators.</p></li><li><p><strong>Operator:</strong> the provider of the rental service at a specific location, which may be Turicleta or an associated third party.</p></li><li><p><strong>User:</strong> the person who makes the booking and/or uses the service.</p></li><li><p><strong>Equipment:</strong> bicycles, stations, bike hangars, locks, batteries, chargers, accessories, and any other items made available to the User by Turicleta or its Operators.</p></li><li><p><strong>Bike hangar:</strong> storage station where the User does not rent equipment but parks and securely stores their own bicycle, with the User being responsible for anchoring and securing it properly.</p></li><li><p><strong>Booking:</strong> the rental contract for Equipment for a specified period and conditions.</p></li><li><p><strong>Deposit:</strong> the amount charged as a guarantee for the proper use and return of the Equipment, refundable in accordance with these Conditions.</p></li></ul><hr><h2>3. Nature of the service</h2><p>Turicleta offers a bicycle rental service and associated equipment. Turicleta is responsible for managing the booking, collecting the amount and the deposit, providing assistance, and, where applicable, supplying, maintaining, and operating the stations, bike hangars, and bicycles.</p><p>In addition to the rental, Turicleta offers the <strong>bike hangar</strong> service: storage stations where the User does not rent equipment but has a space to park and securely store their own bicycle. In this service:</p><ul><li><p>The User is solely responsible for anchoring and properly securing their bicycle inside the bike hangar, as well as for its proper locking.</p></li><li><p>Turicleta provides the infrastructure and security means of the bike hangar, but <strong>is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage to the User's bicycle</strong> when resulting from improper anchoring, locking, or use by the User, or from non-compliance with the usage instructions.</p></li></ul><p>The collection of the booking and deposit is carried out by Turicleta, which subsequently settles with the corresponding Operator when this is a third party. Consequently, the User acknowledges and accepts that <strong>Turicleta is authorized to charge, retain, and, where applicable, deduct from the deposit</strong> the amounts that apply in accordance with these Conditions.</p><hr><h2>4. Requirements for booking and using the service</h2><ol><li><p><strong>Minimum age to book:</strong> 16 years. Persons under 16 years of age cannot make bookings; these must be made by an adult who assumes responsibility.</p></li><li><p><strong>Minors:</strong> any User under the age of majority must be accompanied at all times by an adult who is responsible for them during the use of the service.</p></li><li><p><strong>Condition to ride:</strong> the User agrees not to use the Equipment under the influence of alcohol, drugs, medications, or other substances that affect their ability to drive.</p></li><li><p><strong>Traffic regulations:</strong> the User must respect traffic and road safety regulations at all times, as well as the usage instructions provided by Turicleta or the Operator.</p></li><li><p><strong>Accuracy of data:</strong> the User guarantees that the data provided in the booking is true and current.</p></

Liability insurance

Coverage for third-party damages while using the bicycle.

<p><strong>Liability Coverage</strong> The policy includes Liability Coverage with a maximum limit of €300,000 per incident. This coverage protects against damages that may be caused to third parties as a result of the use of electric bicycles rented from Turicleta during the contracted rental period.</p><p><strong>Scope of Application</strong> The coverage applies exclusively to activities derived from the non-professional use of the insured rented vehicles. Damages arising from professional use or use other than that provided for in the policy conditions are excluded from the scope of coverage.</p><p><strong>Claims Management</strong> For the management of any incident covered by this policy, the user has the free choice of distributor or agreed workshop. The coverage includes assistance in claiming damages and legal assistance and administrative procedures.</p><p><strong>General Conditions</strong> This coverage is subject to the effective collection of the corresponding premium receipt. This text is for informational purposes only and does not modify, extend, or restrict the general, particular, and special conditions of the policy, which prevail in all cases.</p>

  • How can I access the station?
    1. Access the app of Turicleta and click on “Start route” in your reservation.
    2. To enter the Station, press “Generate code”.
    3. Enter that code at the door of the Station of your reservation...

    And you will be able to enter!

    Remember: You will be able to access your station 10 minutes before the start of your reservation.

  • How do I access the inside of the station to take the bicycle?

    Depending on the type of station, there are two methods:

    • PIN Code: The app generates a code that you must enter on the physical keyboard of the station.
    • Automatic Unlock: You press a button in the app that sends a direct opening signal to the hardware.

    In either case, the app will show you what to do.

  • How can I return my bicycle to complete my reservation?
    1. Enter the Station, and head towards the free docking station.
    2. Place the bike in its dock and push it until you hear “clack”. An amber light will turn on.
    3. Confirm in the app that you have left the bike in its place.

    And it would be charging!

    Remember to confirm that you have completed your adventure in the app once you complete this process.

  • Where can I find the bike stations?

    You can see all the bike stations on the interactive map of the app. Each station shows the availability of bikes in real time, exact address, operating hours, and available services (restrooms, water, workshop). You can also enable notifications to learn about new stations near your location.

How does hourly booking work?

When booking by hours, you have access to the station 15 minutes before your selected start time. This lets you get ready, adjust the saddle and become familiar with the bike before your booking starts.

Remember to return the bike before the booked time ends to avoid extra-time charges.

How does multi-station access work?

With full-shift bookings (morning, afternoon, full day or several days), you can access any Turicleta station in the same area during your booking time.

This means you can stop at another station to charge the e-bike battery or swap it for another available bike if you need to.
